Julie Halatyn, MS, RD
Julie is a Registered Dietitian and is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. After working in hospitals for six years she began her career in the Fitness Industry so that she could focus on preventative health and make a real impact on the health in her community. After applying holistic health and whole food nutrition techniques for 7 years, she opened her own health practice, Sunrise Health & Fitness, alongside her husband, and now focuses her attention on management and membership satisfaction.
When Julie's not helping her members achieve their goals she is working towards her own, participating in outdoor activities including biking, hiking, skiing, athletic events, and more. She also enjoys exploring new restaurants and cafes, seeking out the best foods San Francisco has to offer, and enjoying time with her family and friends whenever possible. Julie believes that nothing feels better than healthy, something she strives to inspire in each and every one of her members.
MICHAEL HALATYN, CPT, HHP, CN
Michael graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Business Management and is certified through the C.H.E.K. Institute, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and has been a member of USA Weightlifting for over a decade. He specializes in corrective strategies and strengthening techniques to help overcome pain, weakness, imbalance, and asymmetry throughout the body.
Michael enjoys trying new foods, outdoor activities, concerts, cooking, playing music, and traveling. He's committed to coaching his clients and believes that its through a balance of body and mind that we achieve our greatest potential.
